Chelsea star Lauren James scored an incredible long-range goal in the 17th minute to hand her side the lead against Bristol City in a Women's Super League clash on Sunday.
James received the pass from Sophie Ingle and went past her marker with ease, before scoring a screamer from nearly 20 yards out.

After James' opening strike, Erin Cuthbert doubled the lead in the 34th minute and in the 59th minute of the game, Matildas star Sam Kerr scored a third goal which all but sealed the match for the Blues.

It was a much-needed win for Emma Hayes' side who were on the back of a humiliating 4-1 defeat against Arsenal and a frustrating goalless draw against Hacken in the Women's Champions League.
Sunday's win helped the Gunners restore their three-point lead over Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the table.
